Family Science Night

Family Science Night is a time for J.B. Nelson students to explore STEM-related topics outside of the classroom and to display it in a non-competitive atmosphere so others can learn from what they have done. The purpose is to encourage a sense of wonder and curiosity in each student and to increase self-directed questioning of the world around them.

Students are encouraged to participate by sharing their science-related projects.

More information on the Family Science Night, including participation guide and information packet are available.

Please contact Ellen Kohlmeir at or Heather DeBaun at with any questions.
